"I needed to quickly immerse myself in the industry and the CIAA was there. I landed a new job, but had no insurance background or appreciation of the complexity of the industry. My new role required strategic alignment with the business and I had to get up to speed. I've taken both the Fundamentals of Accounting and the Advanced Course.  They elevated my knowledge to the level where I understand the strategic importance of my role to my organization and the intricacies of insurance.  The courses really encouraged us to develop key relationships, many of which I rely on today. Even though we're competitors, it's really extraordinary how we share ideas and best practices."

"Over the past decade, I've been an active member by presenting and moderating sessions at CIAA events. I certainly encourage my team to join and participate. Keeping current is a must in our industry and the seminar and luncheon series is a proven route. As a regular conference-goer, I can attest to a well-balanced business program with a mix of technical and industry updates, as well as excellent keynote speakers.  The social side lets us forge new relationships and deepen existing ones."

"I've taken advantage of every CIAA offering: seminars, luncheons, networking and the annual conference. To me, they are essential resources that are relevant to my career and my ability to keep current.  It's an opportunity to learn and make the most of time away from the office.  I invite accountants to join and get involved … learning directly from your peers through dialogue in a social and professional environment is what the CIAA does best."

"For the past four years, our firm has been a gold sponsor at the CIAA's annual conference. We do so because it hosts a professional membership, the conference is well run and the business program is meaningful. We value our membership and the business relationships we've established. Personally, I've attended several conferences and always walk away better informed."
