Conference Awards

The Canadian Insurance Accountants Association Conference Awards Program recognizes outstanding individuals in the industry. This year's nomination deadline is September 5, 2023, and award recipients will be honoured at the CIAA Annual Conference, where winners receive recognition at the Conference Gala and are presented with a framed certificate. Award categories include:

Lifetime Achievement Award

• 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award Winner: Annette Pohle
• 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award Winner: Adrian Serge

Volunteer Award

• 2019 Volunteer Award Winner: John Knotek
• 2018 Volunteer Award Winner: Karen Woodfield

Up and Coming Award

• 2019 Up and Coming Award Winner: Nikia Fleischhacker

Additionally, the Annual Conference Spirit Award is awarded at each conference, with nominations taking place at the conference.
